
The “Comparative Study for the Realization of a Productive Business Model Village” by the Yayasan Badak Indonesia (Lampung) in Pangalengan aims to develop model villages for productive business practices. The initiative involves village leaders learning from successful villages to enhance economic growth and sustainable development in their own communities. This program empowers local communities and contributes to overall rural development.



The event was attended by village heads, forest rangers, representatives from Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, KFW, and other environmental activists from Lampung. The focus was on enhancing Arabica coffee production.







After studying Arabica coffee in the fields, the participants tasted the post-harvest products from Finca De Berman plantation, served by Kawitan’s Barista. They also observed the proper brewing methods for Arabica coffee to enhance its flavor, including grinding, brewing, and serving techniques that highlight the coffee’s unique characteristics.
During the coffee comparative study, participants enjoyed exploring Arabica coffee fields and learning about cultivation techniques. They savored the post-harvest products from Finca De Berman and discovered the art of proper brewing to enhance flavor. It was an enriching experience, combining hands-on learning with the pleasure of tasting exceptional coffee.
